South Jordan Renegades 

Mission Statement

The South Jordan Renegades is a club created in 2005 for the purpose of providing Salt Lake City area youth the opportunity to play competitive baseball. The current club consists of thirteen talented 14U boys.  The Renegades' focus is to teach strong values consistent with the tradition of the great game of Baseball.  Values such as team work, dedication, hard work, integrity and commitment will carry on with the players beyond youth baseball and into their adult lives.   The Renegades compete at a level which is more competitive than a local recreational league.  The players will compete at a very high level, but the focus is the development of the players physically and mentally while having fun playing the great game of baseball. 

The Renegades are a family oriented club.  Friendships are developed that last beyond the playing days with the Renegades.  The Renegades rely on the efforts of the players and their families to raise the funds necessary to participate in regional and national competition. Working together the members of the Renegades' team grow as baseball players, but more importantly as young men.  The players learn the value of earning their way into tournaments.  This years club will be participating in the Triple Crown Spring Training Tournament in Phoenix Arizona. 

The Club's emphasis clearly is not on wins and losses as much as development of character. Renegades' coaches look to the following mission statement of the club everyday as they provide guidance to their players:

"We are sustained by the efforts of volunteers who display an extraordinary amount of commitment and hard work, ensuring that our team is a positive influence in the lives of our children. We also strive to provide a service to our community by providing a healthy outlet for children and opportunities for the community to unite.
